
Andrea Ketoff è stato nominato nel 2007 Direttore di Confindustria Energia, la nuova Federazione delle Associazioni del comparto Energia.
In questa veste ha promosso un vasto progetto sul ruolo e il contributo dell'industria energetica italiana in una politica di efficienza energetica coerente con gli obiettivi europei al 2020.
Dal 1998 è anche Direttore Generale di Assomineraria, l'associazione di Confindustria che rappresenta in sede nazionale e internazionale gli interessi delle compagnie petrolifere, delle imprese minerarie e delle società contrattiste, italiane e straniere, operanti in Italia nel settore dell'esplorazione e produzione di petrolio, gas naturale e minerali industriali.
E' membro attivo dell'Istituto Affari Internazionali (IAI), dell'Associazione Italiana Economisti dell'Energia (AIEE), dell'OGP (International Assn. of Oil and Gas Producers) edi IMA-Europe (Industrial Minerals Assn.).
Si laurea in Giurisprudenza a Roma e consegue un Master in Energy and Resources alla University of California in Berkeley. Borse di studio e ricerca dagli istituti Fulbright, Wheeler e dalla Banca Interamericana di Sviluppo.
Dopo una breve esperienza di dirigenza nel settore dei servizi energetici, contribuisce all'avvio di un centro internazionale di studi e analisi sulla domanda energetica al Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, uno dei maggiori laboratori di ricerca del governo USA.
Dopo 12 anni tra Stati Uniti, Europa e America Latina, dove collabora con istituti accademici, compagnie petrolifere, istituzioni internazionali e governi locali allo studio della domanda energetica di lungo termine e all'introduzione di politiche e tecnologie per un uso efficiente delle risorse, rientra a Roma come Direttore esecutivo di Aspen Institute Italia.
Qui sviluppa numerosi programmi sui grandi temi del cambiamento e della leadership destinati alla crescita di una classe dirigente europea e, nel 1995, crea la rivista bilingue Aspenia.
I risultati dei suoi studi sui temi energetici sono stati pubblicati in libri e riviste inglesi, francesi, tedeschi, americani e italiani, oltre che in diversi paesi dell'America Latina.
